I started at 24 years old in Multifamily property management, walking new residents through their apartment leases. Then, I moved into Commercial property management at 26, and have been an Associate Property Manager & Marketing Coordinator ever since. I've worked on more than 100 retail, office, medical, and industrial properties and met hundreds of small business owners along the way.
It was my job to explain rent ledgers to tenants, answer their questions about who handles what maintenance issue, tell them when they are breaking the rules, help them get compliant on their insurance, and explain the gosh darn CAMs. I'll use my near-decade of experience in that world to help explain the lease concepts that can trip you up, especially if it's your first business or commercial rental.
