I’m Kevin Timms. In my 15+ years as a healthcare data scientist, I have worked with millions of mdical records and billions of claims. I became frustrated with how these "gold standard" datasets do NOT represent human health equitably -- they simply do not capture the experience of those facing so many impediments that they don't access the health care system enough to even create medical records or claims.

Now, I lead a team of technical, cultural sensitivity, and clinical experts to build tools that ensure the voices of people from all global, social, and cultural backgrounds are heard and served in healthcare.

I’ve been in healthcare data science for 15 years, since before I graduated undergrad. Some background I want you to understand is that I’ve worked with BBs claims, 50M peoples’ medical records, MMs of surveys + medical notes. Built NLP models, linking algorithms, drug screening code. I built 3 AI teams from scratch, managed ~25 people over the years. Years of experience with Pharma, Devices, patients, + on sales engineering projects totaling $10M
