As an individual with visual impairment, I am passionate about advancing inclusivity and empowerment within the disabled community.
Drawing upon my personal experiences and a blend of formal and informal expertise, I offer the following services:
1. Assistive Technology Guidance and Counseling:
• Providing comprehensive guidance and information on available technological resources and use of assistive tools;
• Offering support for independent living;
• Arranging personalised counselling sessions for persons with disabilities and their families.
2. Specialized Advocacy Writing:
• Drafting various forms of Writings such as, persuasive donation requests, grant proposals, and engaging newsletters, among others, with a focus on advocating for rights and opportunities of the disabled community.
3. Braille Learning and Basic JAWS-Operated Computer Training:
• Facilitating basic braille learning, covering essential skills, such as, reading and writing;
• Offering training in basic computer operations utilising assistive tools, such as, JAWS software.
