I graduated from Kayseri Fen Lisesi in 2016, where I received a strong foundation in the sciences. Driven by a profound interest in social sciences, I pursued a degree in History at Boğaziçi University. During my initial years, I engaged in an interdisciplinary curriculum that included courses in both the humanities and the natural sciences, such as Physics 101, Calculus for Social Sciences, and Introduction to Modern Biology. This interdisciplinary approach not only broadened my academic horizons but also reinforced my passion for scientific inquiry.
Despite my initial focus on history, I realized that my true calling lay in the scientific exploration of biological systems. Consequently, I transferred to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Bursa Uludağ University in 2019. This transition allowed me to align my studies with my intrinsic interest in the life sciences. Over the next several years, I gained practical experience working as a trainee veterinary physician in various clinics, honing my skills and deepening my understanding of veterinary medicine.
My ultimate goal has always been to become a dedicated scientist rather than solely a clinician. To this end, I began working in the Department of Physiology at my university a year and a half ago. I initiated a research project titled "Physiological Basis of Cognitive Functions in Rats and Their Use as Biodetectors: Learning, Memory Mechanisms, and Training Strategies." This research has been immensely rewarding, allowing me to present my findings at two international conferences and complete my undergraduate thesis on the topic.
In addition to my formal education and research, I have avidly explored subjects in philosophy and psychology, which have enriched my analytical and critical thinking skills. These interdisciplinary interests have equipped me with a unique perspective and a holistic approach to scientific research.
Besides Medicine and Social Sciences studies, I am participating in religion & philosophy workshops, translating, and teaching historical & academic writings in these fields.
