With over three decades of hands-on global experience, I focus on safety and survival strategies that go beyond compliance. My approach embeds resilience, adaptability, and survival into every layer of an organization, driving operational excellence in high-risk environments and ensuring the well-being of your team.

Why Work With Me? I've worked from the flight decks of U.S. Coast Guard aircraft to overseeing the construction and certification of the world’s largest passenger-carrying submarine, Atlantis XIV. I’ve led safety programs for 14 power stations from Maryland to Hawaii, authored emergency response plans for natural disasters, and inspected over 1,000 vessels and facilities in the U.S. and Asia to ensure compliance with international regulations.

My career is built on leading complex, high-risk operations with a focus on creating resilient, people-centered systems that protect teams and operations alike.

Areas of Expertise:
Safety Management Systems (SMS): Expert in developing and auditing SMS programs under ANSI/ISO standards, including OSHA, NFPA, IEEE, SOLAS, CFR and NEC compliance, ensuring flawless execution in complex, high-risk operations.
Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis: Led investigations across diverse environments, including the decommissioning and demolition of a petcoke-fueled power station, always with an eye toward systemic improvements and operational resilience.
Emergency Preparedness & Response: Developed and implemented life-saving response plans for power stations, managed recurrent training for 125 flight crew members, and ensured 100% operational readiness of seven aircraft, setting a zero-defect standard.
Global Compliance Expertise: Project Officer for the construction and certification of 43 petrochemical tank barges, with extensive experience in international compliance across Asia, ensuring vessels met stringent safety and environmental standards.
Training & Development: Authored and delivered survival training, including open ocean rescue for USCG, USAir, and California Sheriff’s pilots, and managed all STCW training and vessel manning for Princess Cruises’ 14-ship fleet.
