I then decided to move to a role where I could sharpen my technical skills (feeling confident with my training and analytical and business management skills) and have since streamlined over 2,500 working hours per year to less than 35 (98.6% efficiency) and built a number of complex products in both Tableau (for regulators) and Power BI (for global finance companies) for various teams enabling more advanced analytics and automation. I gained uptake for BI solutions where this was previously poor, scoped, designed, and implemented advanced functionality (from my own data warehouse structures to custom AI systems for data analysis).
I hold various accreditations, being one of the last to gain Microsoft's highest qualifications before this was retired: Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE) in Data Management and Analytics, and since, Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate (averaging 87.2% across all), and previously obtained PRINCE2 practitioner status. • Streamlined the production of over 1,500 reports annually (saving over 1,100 hours) from 17 to 3 days per month, removing all data quality issues and increasing the number of key text insights by over 60% to 201 (not including insights via new visuals) for Registration area (core income) or a regulator
• Created a platform for 1,000s of versions of self-serve reports (parameter-driven) with new advanced functionality, circumventing a poorly performing data warehouse (meant 3 days work, becomes 1 hour work and allows for more advanced analysis than was possible via the old method).
• Designed new dashboards that were subsequently built nationally and won private tenders (>80k)
• Pioneering analytics in the software (over 11,000, often saving finances in >£10,000s) so customers could show improvements nationally with regards to various KPIs
• Led and managed all training sessions (>170, tailoring to each), acting as the key point between customers, developers, and the business management team
• Developed products (training area >40 manuals, >150 FAQs, videos) to transform usage (all to have access to my expert-level knowledge) and longevity (managers could use)
