3D Character Model Creation
My experience with this freelancer was extremely negative. I hired him to design a 3D model in SolidWorks with articulated joints, which was a crucial requirement for the project. We agreed on a one-week deadline. A few days into the project, he requested full payment, claiming the work was almost finished, which I agreed to in good faith based on his apparent progress.
However, once he received the payment, his communication became sporadic, taking days to respond to my messages. After much waiting, he finally delivered a file that did not meet the main specification: the model was not articulated. This made it completely unusable for my purposes, as the fixed arm position in an unnatural pose does not allow any flexibility in its use.
When I pointed this out, he assured me that he would fix it, but after another week, he admitted that he was unable to do so. I was forced to hire another freelancer to redo the entire project from scratch. I requested a partial refund since the work delivered did not meet the agreed-upon requirements, but the freelancer flatly refused.
Unfortunately, I have no way to recover the money I paid for defective and incomplete work. My only recommendation is that other potential clients be cautious when hiring him, as in my experience, he did not meet deadlines or specifications, and his level of professionalism left much to be desired.
