Illustration for Board Game Packaging
Unfortunately, working with this freelancer was extremely disappointing. The requirements for the project were communicated in detail and very clearly from the start, including written descriptions, visual examples, and a defined timeline of 3 days. Nevertheless, the project did not go as expected.
Issues:
1. Disregard for Requirements: Despite clear instructions, the freelancer did not deliver what was agreed upon. Something entirely different was created, and the actual requirements were ignored.
2. Poor Communication: After providing feedback, there were times when the freelancer did not respond at all, leading to unnecessary delays. Necessary adjustments were only implemented superficially.
3. Insufficient Quality: The results were careless and roughly executed. Details such as shadows, correct color assignments, and a harmonious overall look were missing. Moreover, I never received the agreed-upon AI file, only screenshots.
4. Missed Deadlines: The agreed timeline of 3 days was not met, and this was not communicated in a timely manner.
5. Unprofessional Behavior: Instead of taking responsibility for the mistakes, the freelancer falsely claimed that the requirements were unclear. This is incorrect, as the instructions were detailed and easy to understand.
6. Issues with Refund: Although the project was incomplete and no usable result was delivered, the freelancer withheld part of the payment and claimed that unclear communication was the reason. This is simply not true.
Conclusion:
The work was imprecise, the communication inadequate, and the project was left unfinished. I cannot recommend this freelancer.
