Looking to build a Website

Single Page Landing
I hired Hamza and his team to develop a single-page Webflow landing site with horizontal scrolling and custom UI interactions. The concept was ambitious but clearly defined from the start, we provided reference sites and outlined our expectations around animation quality, fluid user experience, and polished design. This wasn’t a simple layout job; it required technical confidence with Webflow interactions and attention to detail.
Hamza was consistently communicative, responsive, and professional throughout the process. He stayed engaged, followed up regularly, and approached feedback with a great attitude. His commitment to the project was clear, and I appreciated how easy he was to work with. Even when things got challenging, he remained positive and collaborative.
Despite the strong communication and effort, the final deliverable didn't meet the quality bar I had hoped for. While the interactions were implemented to some extent, they felt janky and unrefined. Animations lacked fluidity, scroll behavior was inconsistent, and the overall site didn't reflect the polish or performance of the examples we had shared.
I want to be fair in saying that what we were building was not a standard landing page, it involved horizontal scrolling, layered transitions, and a higher level of finesse than most basic Webflow builds. In retrospect, I think the team may have underestimated the technical demands of the project. The structure was there, but the execution didn’t feel production-ready.
We went through several rounds of revision, and while Hamza remained responsive and willing to adjust, the core issues with interaction quality and smoothness persisted. Eventually, with the project already delayed by about two weeks, I decided to move in a different direction and build the landing page myself. It was a difficult decision, but one that made sense given the needs of my business and the standards I was aiming to maintain.
To be clear, I believe Hamza is capable of delivering solid results for traditional Webflow sites: marketing pages, business homepages, personal portfolios, and other standard web builds. His client service and dedication are strong assets. For straightforward site designs with minimal interaction complexity, I think he could be a good partner.
While the project didn’t turn out as hoped, I respect Hamza’s work ethic and communication. He was always courteous, engaged, and professional. I appreciate the time and effort he and his team put into this project, and I hope this review helps both potential clients and Hamza as he continues to grow and refine his offerings.
