As a Mass Communication Graduate (Cum Laude) with an Associate’s Degree in Journalism and Public Relations, I also have a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of London.
As a Communications professional, I have been able to work in my home country of Trinidad and Tobago, as well as regionally and internationally, with several clients. In 2013 I began working as an editor and proofreader. Over the years, I have mastered my writing in various genres. Building my skills in different capacities, I have also gained experience as a Virtual Assistant working for multiple companies maintaining Social Media platforms, performing Administrative duties, and acquiring more knowledge in Graphic Designing.
Having started my working career as a teacher, I grabbed every opportunity to provide and guide my students with the best instruction and guidance. After spending ten years teaching English A in the Public Service, I spent a year teaching IGCSE English, Geography and Spanish. To date, this has been extended to private tutoring (English, Social Studies, Office Administration and Math) and additionally serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (Fundamentals of Communication), CSEC Lecturer at CTS College (Office Administration and EDPM), and most recently I am an IELTS and CELPIP Tutor at Hzad Education, Canada.
