MY PROCESS
1️⃣ Briefing: The first step in my design process is the briefing, where we lay the foundation for your project. During this stage, we will discuss your business objectives, target audience, and the overall vision for the website/app. This is also the time to share any specific requirements, design preferences, or inspirations you have in mind. My goal is to fully understand your needs and expectations, ensuring we are aligned before moving forward. The insights gathered in this step will guide the entire design process, leading to a website that truly reflects your brand.
2️⃣ Research and Competitive Analysis: In this step, I dive deep into understanding your industry, competitors, and target audience. I conduct thorough research to identify current trends, user behaviors, and design practices that resonate with your market. Additionally, I analyze your competitors’ designs to determine what works well and where there are opportunities to stand out. This research helps to inform the design strategy, ensuring that your website/app not only meets industry standards but also offers a unique and compelling experience that differentiates your brand.
3️⃣ Information Architecture, User Flow, and Wireframing: With a solid understanding of your goals and market, I move on to structuring the website. This step involves creating the information architecture, which organizes the content in a logical and user-friendly manner. I then map out the user flow to ensure visitors can easily navigate the site and achieve their objectives. Finally, I develop wireframes—basic layouts that outline the placement of elements on each page. These wireframes serve as the blueprint for the design, providing a clear visual guide before we move on to more detailed design work.
4️⃣ Design and Prototyping: In this step, I transform the wireframes into a visually engaging and functional design. Drawing from the insights gathered in the previous stages, I apply your brand's color scheme, typography, and other visual elements to create a cohesive and appealing look. This is where the website/app begins to take shape, with attention to aesthetics, usability, and user experience. Once the design is complete, I develop a prototype—an interactive mockup that simulates how the final website/app will function. This allows you to experience the design in action and provide feedback before moving into development.
