The project began well, but it quickly became clear that the working process was flawed. Tasks were briefly reviewed and evaluated purely in terms of "time and money," with little attention to detail. The approach seemed to be "Here's what we've done—give feedback," but any feedback given was only considered in terms of how it could be relayed to the production team rather than being meaningfully addressed or acted upon.
Partway through, it was obvious that the person who was working underneath the project had been replaced. Corners were cut as soon as the workload appeared larger than expected. Everything became standardized, resulting in excessive copy-pasting and duplication. Any deviation from their rigid process led to problems.
Communication was quick but shallow. It felt like talking to a wall—acknowledgment without actual engagement. The project had to stay on a tight schedule, forcing compromises and lowering expectations.
There was no effort to understand the project's goals, no creativity, and no flexibility. It felt like dealing with a conveyor belt, where tasks were churned out without care for quality or the bigger picture.
I would recommend this contractor if you need straightforward work without creativity. If the work can be copied-pasted as a side project, As a positive aspect, you can expect a good communication schedule.
