Being an alternative music lover (punk rock, indie, emo, metal, hardcore) and having many artists in my family, I was always drawn to the album covers from many of my favourite bands. I always thought these images added a lot of new meanings and emotions to the music of the album. It is the first impression people have of your work. If they feel attracted by the art they are a lot more likely to be interested in the music it's supposed to represent.
