You will have your children book as a ready to print PDF File or any other formats you need to publish it either physical or online. As a professional illustrator and graphic designer I'm capable of completing all the tasks you need for designing your book.
The usual page number for printed picture books is 32. It includes front and back cover, title, dedication and copy right pages too. So the number of story pages would be around 20. So you can have 20 single page illustrations or combination of single and two page spread illustrations depending on your story. For example you can have 12 single illustrations and 4 two page spreads which will be 20 all together.

Children's Book - House on Hillside Avenue
Mehrzad was exceptional to work with – this project was personal to me and my family. He took the time to get to know me and my goals, and worked collaboratively with me to get images that would be meaningful to make the story come to life. Throughout the project, Mehrzad was super responsive (even while traveling) and continued to work with me to ensure everything was perfect (e.g. printing) even after the project was officially closed. I will work with Mehrzad again in the future.

Reading the Manuscript
The first thing to do is reading the story carefully and decide about the best approach and visual style to illustrate the story.
Page Layout
At this stage I start sketching the ideas for each page. At the same time I make thumbnails for the composition of each spread and try to make a nice design that flow through all pages. I have a rough idea about the placement of text at this stage.
