I have years of experience designing catalogs for my clients. I had several Harley-Davidson clients that printed quarterly catalogs. I design custom page templates for each of my clients and set the information inside of that. Usually I work from template approval first - then set up all the information. These catalogs are always very profitable pieces.

1. Discuss project with the client.
First I will have an in-depth discussion with the client on what they are looking to include in this catalog and what they are trying to achieve by creating a catalog.
2. Gather requirements.
The catalog design cannot begin without getting the actual size and all requirements from the printer for layout/final artwork. A template from the printer would be ideal.
