Hello, my name is Heidi! I have been creating illustrations since highschool, but I began to illustrate professionally in 2022. I am creative, hardworking and reliable, and I enjoy creating well designed illustrations that hold meaning, both for the client and the viewer. My goal as an illustrator is to make pictures that tell the heart of the story, so that the little ones without the ability to read can still find wonder and joy in the experience of opening a book.

I attended a project based highschool, where we earned our credits through interest-based projects and internships. During my last two years I interned with Ayoko Design, an independent publisher and design studio. There I explored the process of interior design, branding, graphic design and printing, and was taught the basics of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator while completing two of my own publications and creating illustrations for Ayoko Design. These experiences have given me a strong foundation to grow from as an artist and graphic designer. Since then I've had the privilege to illustrate over fifteen titles through Upwork, many of which I've formatted.

I'll scan your painting at 300 dpi (that's dots per inch!) and send it to you!

Review the work, release payment, and leave feedback to Heidi.
