While Faizan did finish the project and deliver the files, the overall experience was disappointing. The quality of the work was average, and much of it looked like something I could have done myself with limited design skills.
He often ignored specific directions, added things I asked him not to, and needed constant reminders to follow the references. Communication was excessive — he messaged me repeatedly after every small update, even when I said I was busy at work.
Mid-project, he told me he didn’t know how to animate anything, even though animations were part of the original job. He also didn’t seem to understand what streaming overlays actually were until I sent him multiple examples and explanations. On top of that, he asked me to change a previous review I’d written for him, which was unprofessional and made me uncomfortable.
Although I eventually received usable assets, the process required far too much time, oversight, and clarification.
