Project details
I am an experienced food photographer and have worked with chefs, food writers and food producers, creating images for advertising, website use, recipes and book covers. I will come to your premises (London and the southeast of England) and I always shoot tethered so we can view the images as we go along. I will bring all the necessary lighting and backgrounds with me, and you can style the dishes yourselves or leave that to me. Currently I am working safely and adhering to current Covid guidelines.

I also work with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to an expert standard, and am experienced in creating images suitable for print, both small and large format. My design skills with InDesign extend to creating and realising press advertisements, marketing literature, books, display graphics and large format vinyl wraps.
I also have qualifications in proofreading and in writing SEO-friendly copy for the web.
I have a passion for food, and have created several series of step by step images for a manufacturer of silicon mats in which I undertook the preparation of 80 cookie recipes and illustrated each one from start to finish. I was eating cookies for months after that.
I am educated to degree level with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, although I have also studied biochemistry to an advanced level.

I will arrive at your premises, fully equipped, and photograph your food. we will be able to see the images as we go along, and you can offer input and feedback at any time.
