UAV Design and GNC Aerospace Engineer

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering at ODTÜ, and have developed a solid foundation in aircraft dynamics, flight mechanics, and control systems. My coursework, particularly in subjects like flight control systems and dynamic modeling, has equipped me with the theoretical knowledge and analytical skills necessary to excel in this role. This includes my projects done in Attitude estimation and control as well as UAV systems as are listed in my CV.
Moreover, I have supplemented my academic learning with practical experience through internships and projects. During my previous internship at ORDULU Technology (Enetki Savunma), I had the opportunity to work on a project focused on system identification techniques for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as well as the design and CG analysis of the UAVs including the static and dynamic stability analysis. This experience allowed me to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios, enhancing my understanding of control system design, UAV stability design and optimization.
I have also participated twice in the Teknofest competition organized by Baykar Technologies in the International UAV challenge. I was responsible for the design, modelling, and analysis of the UAV. This included the concept design of the UAV, modelling it in SolidWorks and then in XFLR5 to analyze its static and dynamic stability.
One of my most notable projects involved developing a Controller for a fixed wing UAV, where I utilized MATLAB and Simulink for system modeling and controller design and visualized it in Flight Gear, an open-source software. Through this project, I gained valuable insights into the intricacies of the mathematical dynamic modeling of aircraft as well as system design and the importance of robust control strategies in ensuring stable and efficient aircraft operation.
I am currently working on a GNC System Design for Fixed-Wing UAV Units, which will revolutionize the field of UAVs by incorporating multiple units and enabling efficient path management.
