You will get an online class on a Zoom call and learn what you need to create a digital illustration using your pen tablet and software such as ClipStudio Paint and Affinity Designer. You'll be directed to generate sample illustrations and develop your own unique style while learning to use different tools from this software when drawing.

Illustrator for a Children's Book
We are not even sure how to give Diogo proper HIGH accolades for his work with us on this project. He was stellar from the start. His communication style was perfect for us--he was extremely responsive and kept communication flowing, even if he wasn't able to work on the artwork or changes we requested immediately. He kept us informed on timelines and and helped us understand both the Upworks contract process and the KDP publishing process with Amazon, as we were new to all of it and very novice with how it all worked!
He was very open to the book's author making extremely minute changes to his initial designs and never minded having to go back and forth on even one page to get it exactly "right." He collaborated with us throughout the entire project and never took offense with any changes we requested, no matter how small they might have been. Had a very keen eye on interpreting our initial images (per sketches made by an 8-year old!) and made it clear to us that he wanted to do whatever it took to help make this book a success for all of us! His character designs were spot-on for the style of children's book we were trying to create. He was always very polite and patient with our feedback. He made sure we understood that he would always be available to help us, even after our contract ended.
Working with Diogo exceeded our expectations on all levels, and we would highly recommend him for any children's book illustrations! We look forward to the day we can work with him again! Thank you, Diogo!
