I have to start this review with an apology: I'm deeply sorry to Abhi for missing the feedback window on the last contract we did. Abhi has provided me with top-notch design services for an effective price before - and I would have given the exact same feedback as I'm giving now. I'll give you a rundown on how working with Abhi is.
- Idea phase: I can communicate my idea in a couple of sentences, a couple of examples from Google Images or something. Abhi picks up every single word and I don't have to be scared of lost requirements - never once happened. Abhi knows what questions to ask upfront. Sometimes with freelancers you get a new question every time they sit down to work on your task which is not effective at all. Abhi asks for everything he needs.
- Implementation: The next time you hear from Abhi, he'll have a draft available for you to look at. Abhi takes feedback very well and that's the reason I'll be coming back to him. I'm sure that I can find my groove working with him as my designer and we can build a great working relationship from that.
- Revisions: Abhi is very fair with regard to corrections. E.g. for this contract he provided me with a small adjustments that I would have been happy to pay for (as I missed it in the initial requirements) free of charge. While we shouldn't go into contracts expecting that, it's a very nice touch shows appreciation.
- Deliverables: Abhi delivers *everything you need* and nothing more or less. For example, for my tasks (they go straight to a frontend dev), Abhi includes the Figma source file (including icons etc.), any fonts used and JPG exports. No useless exports in 8 data formats (3 of which you've never heard about).
- Quality of work: work is done to a high standard, Figma files are organized with named layer groups. I wouldn't have had a single problem coding the designs myself and haven't heard any problems from the developers yet. Typography is consistent, corner radii are consistent. The files are a breeze to work with, even I as an Adobe suit user could work with Figma quite easily thanks to the files and layouting just making sense.
All things considered, I can definitely recommend Abhi in the highest tones only. I have worked with lots of people from all around the world and the complete package here is unmatched!
