After completing my second year, I had the opportunity to intern at TUDEMSAŞ 🏗️, where I gained hands-on experience in welding (TIG, MIG & MAG, submerged arc, plasma cutting, electric arc) 🔥, machining ⚙️, non-destructive testing (penetrant liquid and ultrasonic inspection) 🕵️♂️, quality control ✅, measurements 📏, and sheet metal cutting ✂️. I also worked with the VRTEX 360 Resource Simulator 🎮.
During my senior year, I completed my internship at TÜRASAŞ 🚆 in the railway industry, where I gained practical experience in gas metal arc welding 🔥 and worked with a welding simulator 🎮. My team and I designed a friction and wear test device ⚙️, which we improved during our internship by creating version 2 of the device. In these projects, I was involved in tasks such as device design, technical drawing creation and interpretation 📐, and manufacturing follow-up using SolidWorks 🖥️.
