Gather requirements
Would like to know what space you like to make. what the size will be? Do you have any sketch or floor plan or hand sketch for the area you want to design? What style do you like? do you have any inspirations or images you like to follow?
Create outline
After I get all the detail before start the work. Will make sure I get everything clear and we understand each other regarding the style and the whole idea.
