Studio Photographer for Close-up Makeup Shots
Despite providing comprehensive written briefs — including a full makeup-direction document specifying four distinct looks and the technique behind each — the core creative deliverable wasn't executed to brief. The product photography was acceptable and usable. However, the model and eye-look shots, which were the entire reason for the booking, didn't reflect the brand brief in either makeup execution or model styling, and weren't usable. I asked for updates during the shoot and wasn't shown the model or the looks before the work was completed, which removed any chance to redirect. For the amount of direction supplied, the result was disappointing and didn't represent good value.
