Organize grahpics
I hired her, and the first trial was okay. I couldn't really use the deliverable, but I paid her because she made the effort. I gave her a second task to create simple layout duplicates to showcase her skills. It wasn't the best but was acceptable. I still couldn't use the deliverable, but I thought she might need more time to practice and improve.
So I set up a third milestone and asked her if she could do it. I laid out all the scopes and everything. To my surprise, she sent me all AI-generated and auto-traced images. She then said that the current scope of the milestone did not clearly specify that AI-assisted or auto-generated files were not allowed, and asked me to pay more for her to fix the files.
I've been on this platform for over 15 years and have hired over 200 people. This is the first time someone has tried to cheat the system.
She also accused me of underpaying for the work. I have never misled any freelancer I've hired. I laid out all the scopes upfront and made sure they understood the payment terms. Since this was a trial, I hired a few designers to do the same work so I could decide who could actually deliver quality work. I have had no problems with the other designers, only with her.
