Help me Create a Hilarious Adult Activity Book on the Art of Creative Cursing
Sandra was communicative and engaged during the earlier-mid stages of our project. She expanded the original concept from one activity book into two, which significantly increased her amount of work. I appreciated her creativity, initiative, and willingness to take the project further than initially planned, though I did voice a bit of concern as it made extra work, however we continued forward that way.
During the project, she experienced several personal hardships. I genuinely understand that life circumstances can be difficult and unpredictable, and I did my best to be patient and flexible by allowing additional time for completion as like everyone, I have also experienced my own hardships and I know life can be hard.
Unfortunately, despite payments totaling over $900, the project was never completed. While Sandra stated that I could use the work that had been finished, I ultimately did not feel comfortable moving forward doing that due to concerns about future copyright or ownership complications. We also discussed partial reimbursement at one point, since this project wasn't seen through to the end - which I appreciated, but that agreement was not followed through when Upwork contacted her.
This was a disappointing outcome, especially after investing both financially and emotionally in the project. That said, I do recognize the effort Sandra put in during the earlier-mid stages. She did some beautiful and fun work! I sincerely hope she is able to complete projects successfully for future clients and I ultimately wish her well.
