Please Read Before Hiring Hans at PixyQ Technologies
I want to share my experience so that others can make an informed decision before hiring this freelancer. He scammed and conned me into releasing money to him throughout the project even though he was not finished.
I have worked with many freelancers over the years, and unfortunately, this was the worst experience I have had.
I hired Hans from PixyQ Technologies to build a family reunion website consisting of approximately 10–15 pages. Most of the site contained images with minimal text, except for our family tree and memorial pages. During the project, I also hired him to restore family photographs and later expanded the scope by adding a Generations page, providing all of the names and information needed.
Unfortunately, the project was never completed.
Our family reunion was only three months away, making the timeline extremely important. Throughout the project, Hans repeatedly requested that I release milestone payments before the agreed-upon work was finished. I continued releasing payments because I wanted to demonstrate that I intended to pay for completed work and hoped it would help keep the project moving forward.
Despite those payments, numerous critical items remained unfinished, including:
Broken website links.
Forms that were never connected or functional.
Stripe payment processing that was never integrated.
Stock images containing watermarks and logos that had to be removed immediately.
Website pages and requested features that were left incomplete.
Image restoration work that was never fully completed.
The Generations page was not properly finished.
As our reunion approached, my family became increasingly concerned because weeks had passed without a completed website. Last week, Hans made the unfinished website live, giving the impression that the project had been completed when it had not.
After I released another milestone payment, Hans requested that those funds be released even though the agreed work was still incomplete. Shortly after receiving payment, he took control of the website and instructed me to send all 500 of my family members to him instead of allowing me to manage my own website.
At this point, my website is still unfinished. I am currently waiting for my dispute with Upwork to be resolved while hiring another freelancer to complete the project so our family reunion website can finally be finished.
This review reflects my personal experience. I encourage anyone considering hiring this freelancer to clearly define milestones, avoid releasing payments before work is completed and verified, and make sure you have full control over your website, hosting, and project assets throughout the engagement.

Please Read Before Hiring Hans at PixyQ Technologies.
He committed FRAUD and SCAMMED me out of money for un-completed work on my family Reunion website. He never completed the 2 jobs I hired him for. This has been, without question, the worst experience I have ever had hiring a freelancer on Upwork. I'm sharing my experience so other clients can make an informed decision before hiring Hans from PixyQ Technologies. Nearly two months ago, my family asked me to find someone to build our family reunion website because I previously owned a marketing company and managed a team of web developers in India several years ago. Although I'm no longer in that business, I've had great experiences with freelancers on Upwork, so I felt confident finding someone for this project. Our family agreed on a budget, and I contacted several freelancers. Everyone I spoke with was interested, but Hans was especially persistent, so I decided to hire him. Looking back, that was my biggest mistake. Our Agreement We agreed to split payment into two parts: 50% upfront The remaining 50% after the website was fully completed, transferred, and I could review the backend and verify that everything worked correctly. I specifically requested that the website be developed on my hosting account so I could monitor the progress and maintain ownership of the project. Hans convinced me it would be easier if he built it on his own server first, promising to provide screenshots and backend demonstrations throughout the process. Since the website consisted of only two pages with extensive family tree and memorial content, I agreed. Additional Work While building the website, Hans showed me examples of his photo restoration work. I liked what I saw and opened a separate contract for restoring old family photographs. He requested that I release payment in full before beginning that work. Although this wasn't our original payment arrangement, I trusted him because he was already working on my website. I released the funds upfront. He completed that first batch of images satisfactorily. Later, I needed additional family photo restorations and created another milestone. Once again, I released payment upfront. Unfortunately, several of the images I paid for were never completed. Because our family reunion was only weeks away, I chose not to argue about the missing work and hoped he would simply finish everything as promised. Missed Deadlines and Unfinished Work The website was supposed to have been completed weeks before our reunion. Instead, progress became slower and slower while it appeared that he was accepting other projects instead of finishing mine. Two days ago, he requested another payment even though the website was still incomplete. Wanting to keep the project moving, I released additional funds. Immediately afterward, our website was taken offline from my hosting account. At that point, I had to contact several members of my family to explain why our reunion website was suddenly unavailable just days before an event with more than 500 attendees. It was incredibly embarrassing and stressful. What Happened Next When I raised concerns about the unfinished work, I noticed changes being made in the backend that created additional problems. Pages were altered, incorrect text appeared, and issues that had not previously existed suddenly had to be fixed. Instead of moving closer to completion, the project became more unstable. I am now trying to recover funds for work that was never completed while also paying another Upwork freelancer to repair and finish the website before our family reunion. My Experience In my experience: Multiple deadlines were missed. I paid upfront for work that was never fully completed. The website remained unfinished despite additional payments. I experienced significant stress just days before a major family event. I ultimately have to hire another freelancer to complete and repair the project. I cannot recommend hiring Hans or PixyQ Technologies based on my experience. Every client's situation is different, but I believe it's important for others to know exactly what happened to me before making their hiring decision.
