UMate is a high-performance chess application where I managed the complete lifecycle of UI/UX design, development, and market optimization. Chess apps require a high level of precision; I designed a sophisticated, "dark mode" professional interface that allows players to focus entirely on strategy. The UI features real-time move tracking, piece highlighting, and a sleek dashboard for player stats and system levels.
On the development side, I implemented complex move-validation logic and an AI-opponent system (Level-based) to cater to both novices and grandmasters. I focused on low-latency performance to ensure that the "Undo," "Restart," and "Exit" functions operate instantaneously. Following development, I handled the ASO and deployment, optimizing the app’s presence to appeal to the global community of strategy enthusiasts.
The project highlights my ability to handle data-heavy interfaces while maintaining a premium, minimalist aesthetic. By balancing the technical requirements of a 64-square grid with a modern, responsive mobile layout, I created a tool that is as functional as it is beautiful.
