This year, I am getting back to drawing after taking a break from my old career. Last year, I was very sick and hospitalized for four months, resulting in becoming physically disabled on top of being Deaf since birth. Because of my recent illness, I’ve been spending a lot more time at home and I’ve decided to lean on my art as a way of healing and expressing myself. It also gives me an opportunity to meet and interact with new people by drawing their portraits.
