Luxury Fashion Website Designer for Emerging Couture Brand
Phase 1 audit was strong and aligned with my brief. However, Phase 2 completely ignored my creative direction and Pinterest board references. The redesign reflected the designer's personal aesthetic preferences rather than the sculptural, editorial couture positioning we had discussed in detail. Despite clear feedback, the work did not incorporate my brand's visual language, color palette, or intended pacing. I was forced to terminate and engage another designer. Creative talent exists, but inability or unwillingness to follow client direction makes this collaboration unsuitable for brand-sensitive projects.
