Engaging in commercial illustration, I strive to bring something unique and distinctive to the final result. For me, each new project is not just a transaction with a client but a chance to create something that no one has ever created before, something that hasn't crossed anyone's mind to depict.
Working as a cartoonist for one of the local newspapers in Kharkiv, I visualized humorous scenes and anecdotes involving well-known personalities within my city. At some point, my works became recognizable even without a signature, both among regular readers of the online version of the newspaper and among buyers of printed products.
In the comments on my works, I received feedback that I have quite an interesting style. Unfortunately, the war that began in 2022 deprived me of this position, as all news resources were focused on military actions and providing real-time information about danger or the locations of humanitarian aid points and bomb shelters. The humor column in the newspaper ceased to exist for a long time, and I had to try my luck in finding work and clients online.
Through social media, I managed to find my first clients and create illustrations for gift wrapping for children's holidays and unique stickers for messengers. Reflecting on the video clips from a children's party that a client sent me as feedback, I was pleasantly surprised by the children's reactions to the gift wrapping featuring their favorite characters.
Recently, I decided to become a freelancer and work on Upwork because I believe it's the place where I can find unique and the most interesting projects!
