Shantanu is a bachelor's in Economics from Delhi University and a Post Graduate in Business Management from FORE School of Management.
He started his career in Human Resources with the largest Electrical Engineering Company in the world (a Fortune 500 Company called ABB) and worked in Industrial Relations across various locations in India. At the age of 25 he was appointed the youngest Head HR for this company’s greenfield Subsidiary JV with a prominent Indian business house. Apart from the role of Head HR he was also a member in this company’s Top Management Committee that took all critical business decisions.
After a 5 year stint in this MNC Manufacturing firm, he moved to the hospitality Sector and worked for the most prestigious hotel brand in the country namely “The Oberoi Hotels” as Head HR for one of their hotels. Post a short stint there he joined the upcoming ITES Sector and in this stint was involved not only in their first appraisal process but also in hiring huge numbers within very short timelines. He hired 2000 employees across levels in 6 months for Daksh that got acquired later by IBM and was called IBM Daksh. He won several accolades and awards before joining another global startup ITES Firm funded by a well-known VC as their Head HR and grew the company from 100 to 1500 employees.
In his last Corporate Role he was Vice President HR for an MNC ITES Firm, before venturing as an entrepreneur and founded his own Executive Search & HR Advisory Firm called “The Recruiters” which is headquartered in Gurgaon. His effort as the Founder & CEO is to maintain and improve constantly the processes, the quality of work done and to grow the business. He has setup branches of his firm in Bangalore & Mumbai.
Mr. Saha is also a Speaker in many public forums and has participated in Panel Discussions on various topics on Management, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource, Career Management, Economy, Politics and Public Infrastructure, etc. He is a guest judge for admissions in a prominent Management Institute in Delhi since 2006 & a Jury in AIMA's National level Management events. He is a mentor to two angel networks that invest and mentor startups.
Shantanu has also survived a life threatening illness and has authored an autobiographical book on his survival journey called "Fight for Life" that is available on Amazon globally. He is now associated as an HR Director and advisor with a large NGO that helps patients with the same illness.
His interests include photography, fitness, traveling, reading, networking, advising startups and public speaking.
