Peaceyard Headstone Designer v1
After a thorough review of a larger scope project with Shahbaz, we elected to use him to develop an MERN based application with. The SOW, project documentation and a full wireframe was shared with him and his team, to get a total price and timeframe for it. Once project was started, this price and timeframe was pushed out a total of 4 times. The quoted time was 3 months. One year later we stopped the project. Enough is enough. Delays of 300%+ and an increase in cost by 240%+. Shahbaz ensured us that there was only 4 weeks left to complete and we worked together to come up with a 4 week project to complete with well defined milestones. We paid him weekly for this, but when it was time to deliver the final product, he failed to do so. The 4 week projects previous 3 weeks were already paid but final delivery was the 4th week. He promised to complete and setup demos for the past 2 weeks. We’ve been waiting numerous times on calls or in chats, only for him to disappear and not reconnect until hours or days later. At this point we have concluded that his skills to complete the project were not sufficient and he decided to scam us for the time and money. We disputed the last invoice and Upwork stepped in and refunded us - as Shahbaz did not agree. He wasted a year of our time and over 10K USD. The final delivery never happened and we have to re-engage with a different developer. Stay away from Shahbaz if you are working on anything remotely serious.
