Event Videography & Photography Services (Recording + Editing)
We hired Tomris for a two-hour, non-stop video recording of our company presentation featuring multiple high-level speakers, along with post-editing and photography.
The photos delivered were of good quality and met our expectations. However, we experienced several challenges related to the video recording and delivery process:
• The main camera ran out of memory before the event ended, resulting in an incomplete recording. Additionally, the quality of the footage was below professional standards and appeared outdated.
• The secondary camera provided better image quality but ran out of battery prior to the end of the event.
• The final video output had several critical issues:
- The overall visual quality was low.
- The recording was incomplete due to storage limitations.
- The initial video file size (37GB) was excessively large and not practical for online use or social media.
• The delivery process took approximately one week, partly due to her connectivity issues.
• The delivery method required us to provide our own drive access, as no external link or standard upload platform was offered.
While we appreciate the effort that went into the project and the quality of the photos, the technical and organizational issues with the video prevented the final result from meeting our expectations for a professional event recording.
To improve future projects, we would recommend the following:
• Ensure sufficient memory and battery capacity to cover the full duration of an event, or inform the client in advance if the job requirements cannot be met.
• Use higher-quality equipment for more professional video results.
• Optimize file sizes and compression to deliver videos that are more practical for clients to upload and share online.
