Custom Odoo Module
Overall Experience:
I initially hired Muhammad to build a custom Odoo module with an integrated NLP chatbot. While the early stages of the project showed progress, a major point of contention arose regarding deployment to my own server environment.
What Went Well:
Muhammad communicated clearly in the beginning and provided detailed proposals with phased milestones.
He demonstrated knowledge of Odoo and chatbot development, and was responsive to initial questions.
What Went Wrong:
Despite our agreement, Muhammad refused to deploy the application on my EC2 server for testing before release of funds.
Instead, he insisted that testing only be done on his own staging server, which was not acceptable given the contract terms and my need to validate functionality in my environment.
This led to a breakdown in trust. As the client, I could not risk releasing funds without verifying deployment on my own infrastructure.
