There are two projects that it had been management dashboard: Management Dashboard on Component Shop and Human Resource Dashboard
For the management dashboard on component shop, Microsoft Power BI got data from Excel on SharePoint (for the KPI and Strategic Initiative) and from SAP (for the Work In Progress). On Excel, users could contribute to data together, and Microsoft Power BI got data continually using Refresh Schedule. On SAP, users using SAP PI for duplicate data to Database, and Microsoft Power BI got data from the database continually using Refresh Schedule.
For the human resource dashboard, users using such a HRIS (Human Resource Information System) application. The application stores data on a database, and Microsoft Power BI got the data continually using Refresh Schedule.
It is how I help my users monitor their work using Management Dashboard. These Dashboards are 100% running well with accurate calculation and scheduled refresh data source, as well as secure login on the homepage.
