Health Interoperability | FHIR & openEHR | Node/React | Mirth Connect
Port Harcourt, Nigeria - 12:04 am local time
Healthcare systems rarely fail due to lack of software. They fail because of poor data architecture, weak interoperability decisions, vendor lock in, and a persistent gap between clinical workflows and technical implementation. My role is to bridge that gap.

I work at the intersection of clinical knowledge and software engineering, helping healthcare teams design and implement interoperable, standards based clinical data platforms that scale.

As a pharmacist and fullstack engineer, I specialize in FHIR, openEHR, HL7 based integrations, and healthcare API development, ensuring clinical reality is correctly represented in software systems from the start.

Featured Work and Focus Areas

• Healthcare Interoperability Architecture
Designing standards based clinical data platforms for EHR and EMR systems, including openMRS based implementations, supporting long term scalability and interoperability.

• FHIR and HL7 Integrations
Implementing FHIR APIs, SMART on FHIR workflows, and HL7 based data exchange across EHRs, EMRs, and HIEs using integration engines such as Mirth Connect.

• Clinical Data and Device Integration
Integrating data from Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), medical devices, and diagnostics platforms, including LIS device integrations, PACS, and DICOM based imaging workflows.

• Clinical Data Modeling and Governance
Translating real world clinical workflows into structured, standards compliant data models using FHIR and openEHR, ensuring data quality, interoperability, and regulatory alignment.

• Standards Based Platforms
Helping teams move from patchwork integrations to core clinical data foundations built on FHIR, openEHR, HL7, and international interoperability standards.

Core Expertise

• Healthcare Standards: FHIR, HL7, openEHR, SMART on FHIR
• Integration and Messaging: Mirth Connect, REST APIs, Healthcare API Integration
• Clinical Systems: EHR, EMR, HIE interoperability
• Regulatory Compliance and Security: HIPAA compliant system design, data privacy, and secure healthcare data exchange
• Clinical Data Architecture and Governance
• Fullstack Development for Health Data Platforms using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern web technologies

What Makes My Work Different

I do not treat interoperability as an afterthought or a collection of one off integrations. I help teams design clinical data platforms that are interoperable by design, clinically accurate, and resilient to vendor changes.

My work has been featured by openEHR International, and I have contributed to interoperability initiatives involving clinical data architecture, system design, and implementation strategy across digital health systems.

If you are building or modernizing a healthcare platform and need interoperability done right from the foundation rather than patched later, I can help.

Steps for completing your project

After purchasing the project, send requirements so Anselm can start the project.

Delivery time starts when Anselm receives requirements from you.

Anselm works on your project following the steps below.

Revisions may occur after the delivery date.

Requirement Review & Planning

I’ll go through all the materials and information you provide, clarify any unclear areas, and plan out the system architecture and timeline.

Database Design & Setup

I’ll create the necessary database schemas and set up a secure, scalable data structure tailored to your project’s needs.

Review the work, release payment, and leave feedback to Anselm.
