While editing your data, I will make sure of the following:
1. Categorical variables are properly coded with numerical values.
2. Column titles are removed.
3. Row titles are removed.
4. Each cell contains only one data value.
5. Each cell contains only a single numerical value (Ex. 5 instead of 5 cm.)
6. Each row represents a single participant and each column represents a single variable.
7. Numerical values that belong to the same variable are on the same scale.
8. Open-ended survey responses are coded into categories with numerical labels.
9. Group membership (e.g., male, female) is indicated with a grouping variable that contains code numbers (e.g., 0 = male, 1 = female).
