Project details
You will get a custom-built Interactive Brokers (IBKR) API connector tailored for your trading infrastructure. Whether you’re building automated trading logic, integrating market data into existing systems, or need a containerized, production-ready interface to IB Gateway or TWS — I’ll provide a robust and flexible solution tailored to your infrastructure.
As an experienced backend and DevOps engineer specializing in trading systems, I offer more than just raw code. The connector is designed with resilience in mind: full support for connectivity checks, reauthorization, reconnection logic, and restart on failure — all packaged with Docker and built for reliability.
From clean code delivery (Starter) to full system integration (Standard) or advanced deployment with one-month support (Advanced), I adapt the implementation based on your specific use case. All I need from you is a clear understanding of your target environment and how you plan to use the connector — the rest is handled with precision.

Kotlin Backend Developer for Crypto Funding Rate Arbitrage Scanner (Stage 1)
Oleksii is a top-tier Kotlin expert. He didn't just code, he architected a fail-safe, low-latency detection system that handles Binance, Kraken, and OKX perfectly. He correctly implemented Kraken's V2 WebSockets and robust concurrency patterns (SupervisorJob) without being asked. Fast, professional, and technically brilliant. We are immediately moving to Stage 2 with him.

📈 Funding Rate Arbitrage System (Recent)
Currently building a low-latency cryptocurrency funding rate arbitrage system that operates across multiple centralized and decentralized venues. Originally prototyped in Java and Kotlin, the system has been completely rewritten in Rust to meet stricter latency and reliability requirements. Technologies used:
🔹 Rust at the core for execution-critical paths, including order routing, position reconciliation, and venue connectors where tight latency budgets and predictable performance matter most
🔹 Native integrations with Binance, Bybit, Hyperliquid, and Kraken, covering both perpetual futures and spot legs
🔹 Real-time funding rate aggregation, slippage modeling, fee accounting, and risk management to identify and capture cross-venue spreads
⚡ IoT Platform
I have worked on a distributed IoT platform in AWS IoT with numerous integrations and a complex architecture. Transitioned the platform from Telit to AWS IoT Core.
Technologies used:
🔹 Java Spring Boot with AWS ECS to develop a scalable message-processing microservices pipeline
🔹 Dagger 2 with AWS Lambda for efficient dependency injection in serverless applications
🔹 Node.js (TypeScript) with AWS Lambda functions to implement specific integrations and enhance functionality
🚀 FinTech Trading System
Developed a robust, scalable trading system capable of handling dozens of symbols across multiple accounts and brokerages.
Technologies used:
🔹 The trading system is being developed using Java and Kotlin within a Spring Boot microservices architecture
🔹 Apache Kafka integrated to support the backtesting of extensive datasets
🔹 To complement the backend functionality, I developed a simple UI using React and Redux, enabling users to interact with the system
🔹 Additionally, I researched and implemented a separate module written in Python, leveraging Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) techniques to explore advanced analytical capabilities
🔹 Integrations with OpenAI, Binance, Metatrader (via MetaApi), and Snapi news API (Crypto, Forex, Stocks) further enriched the system’s versatility and scope
🔹 For CI/CD processes, I utilized GitLab and Docker Compose with a Cloud Native Buildpacks (CNB) approach to streamline deployments and ensure efficient workflows
🛍️ E-commerce
Worked as a full-stack developer on various e-commerce projects, utilizing a wide variety of technologies and frameworks such as Java, SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Spring, Apache Kafka, Hibernate, Hazelcast, Apache Solr, Kubernetes, React, and others.
