About Afnan

Afnan R.Status: Offline
Full Stack Developer | AI SaaS Developer | Next.js, React & Node.js
Lahore, Pakistan - 9:33 am local time
20+ production web apps built. 7 live API integrations in one platform. ~50% faster page loads after an SSR migration. I'm a Full Stack Developer and AI SaaS Developer working in Next.js, React, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and Supabase. I build multi-tenant B2B SaaS, custom CRMs, dispatch and billing platforms, and the internal tools companies actually run their day on.

Mostly operations software. The unglamorous stuff that has to be right: role-based access, audit trails, invoicing that reconciles, dashboards a non-technical ops manager can read without a training session.

WHAT I'VE SHIPPED

▪️ A multi-tenant logistics and dispatch platform; drag-and-drop scheduling, automated invoicing, real-time inventory, and seven live integrations: Clover, RingCentral, Twilio, SendGrid, Google Maps, Pusher and WhatsApp.
▪️ A weighbridge billing system for a waste and recycling facility. Live weigh-scale hardware feeding weight-based charges for inbound and outbound trucks, customer/vendor/material tracking, and recycling reports the site actually files.
▪️ An e-learning platform on React and Supabase: video lectures, quizzes, progress tracking, instructor course management.
▪️ A freelancing marketplace with separate client and freelancer dashboards, milestone-based project management and Socket io messaging.

Average delivery cycle is about a month. On one production app I cut page load times roughly in half by moving off client-side rendering to SSR and trimming the API calls behind it.

TAKING OVER SOMEONE ELSE'S CODE

A good chunk of my work starts with an app that already exists and has stalled. Often it was built in Lovable, Replit or Bubble, worked well enough to prove the idea, and then hit the ceiling. The database can't do what the product now needs, or nobody can add a feature without breaking two others.

I'll take that codebase, tell you honestly whether it's worth extending or rebuilding, and then do it. Same for inherited repos with no documentation and a developer who's gone quiet.

WHAT YOU ALSO GET

✅ Automated tests on the paths that matter: auth, billing, anything touching money
✅ Real documentation and a handover: architecture notes, environment setup, a deployment runbook
✅ Reporting and CSV/Excel export built in, because operations teams always need the data out
✅ Full source-code ownership. The repo is yours from day one, not at the end

WHERE I CAN HELP

- Multi-tenant SaaS architecture, with proper tenant data isolation
- SaaS MVP builds: a working first version in weeks rather than months
- AI integration: OpenAI and LLM features, AI-powered web applications
- Authentication, RBAC and permissions (JWT, OAuth, Clerk, Supabase Auth)
- Stripe subscriptions, metered billing and invoicing
- Dashboards, reporting and analytics
- Custom CRM, ERP-style and internal ops tools
- Business workflow automation and approval flows
- Scheduling, dispatch and routing systems
- Third-party API and webhook integration
- Notifications: email, SMS, in-app (SendGrid, Twilio)
- Security-conscious builds: tenant isolation, encrypted secrets, sensible handling of GDPR and HIPAA-adjacent data
- Data migration and performance optimization
- Production deployment and CI/CD

Stack: Next.js, React, Node.js, Express, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase, MongoDB, REST APIs, Tailwind, Vercel and AWS. I pick the database to fit the product. For most B2B software that means Postgres, not because it's fashionable but because relational data with real permissions belongs in a relational database.

I prefer to stay on after launch rather than hand over and vanish: fixes, small features and improvements on an ongoing basis, so the product doesn't quietly rot six months after go-live. Fixed-price on a defined build, hourly on longer engagements, whichever suits you.

I also co-founded a small development studio, so if a build outgrows one developer I can bring in a second engineer or a designer without you starting a hiring round. Either way you deal with one person: me.

If you're building or rescuing a B2B SaaS platform, send me three or four sentences: what the software needs to do, your current stack if there is one, and roughly when you need it live. I'll come back with the architecture I'd use, the trade-offs I'd be weighing, and a realistic timeline. No charge for that, and no obligation.
