Multiple Website Design Projects - Hostinger (or Square Space)
Our experience with Mati was extremely disappointing. He consistently failed to deliver on what was promised, repeatedly missed deadlines, and communicated poorly throughout the project. Updates were infrequent, follow-ups often went unanswered, and we frequently had to chase him for basic information on project status.
At his request, we released a milestone payment before delivery. After receiving payment, communication deteriorated further, and he eventually informed us that he could not continue with the project. No completed deliverables, refund, transition plan, or reasonable resolution was offered.
Based on our experience, we seriously question whether he had the necessary competence and technical capability to undertake the project in the first place. It appeared that the scope and requirements exceeded his abilities, despite assurances to the contrary during the engagement.
What was most concerning was not only the failure to deliver, but the lack of professionalism in handling the situation. When issues arose, there was no accountability, proactive communication, or attempt to reach a fair resolution.
We would not recommend Mati. If you are looking for a freelancer with technical competence, reliable communication, and the ability to manage challenges professionally, avoid Mati, we believe there are significantly better options available on the platform.
