Backend and reliability are my core. My C and C++ background keeps performance, memory, and algorithms front of mind on every project. I build REST and GraphQL APIs with clear contracts, idempotency keys on every mutation, and webhooks hardened with HMAC verification and replay queues.
I design for failure by default. I use SELECT FOR UPDATE on rows that race, append-only audit logs instead of editable balances, and exponential backoff with token-bucket rate limiting in Redis. Every worker gets a dead-letter queue, and Sentry with source maps gives production errors real stack traces. EXPLAIN plans, composite indexes, and N+1 hunts keep databases honest under load.
On the AI side, I integrate the Anthropic and OpenAI SDKs directly, with tool-use schemas, MCP servers, prompt caching, golden-set evals, structured outputs for agents, and RAG with pgvector and Pinecone. I keep a project CLAUDE.md per repo to stop drift across long sessions, write custom slash commands and Claude skills for code review and refactor, and follow DRY, KISS, SOLID, and TDD as hard rules.
For Webflow, I build CMS-driven sites that scale. That means collection-backed dynamic templates, filtering and tagging structures, reusable components, conditional visibility, and custom interactions a marketing team can manage on its own. I keep class architecture clean with a client-first naming convention, set up Webflow Localization for multilingual sites, and add custom JavaScript and API integrations where native features stop. I also handle performance and technical SEO with lazy-loaded WebP images, deferred scripts, Core Web Vitals tuning, JSON-LD structured data, and clean sitemaps. I work the same way across Framer, Wix Studio, Squarespace, and Bubble.
For eCommerce, I work across Shopify and WooCommerce, with Liquid themes, the GraphQL Admin API, Stripe and Lob integrations, variable products, and warehouse and 3PL fulfillment workflows. For data pipelines I use DuckDB, Polars, and Parquet on S3 or GCS, with BullMQ and Celery for background workers.
Also experienced with: real-time and telephony (WebSockets, Socket IO, Redis pub/sub, Twilio Programmable Voice, Asterisk ARI), paid-traffic attribution (Meta Conversions API and server-side GTM on Cloudflare Workers), web automation and scraping (Puppeteer, Playwright, Bright Data, proxy rotation), the Zoho ecosystem (Creator, Flow, Deluge, CRM, Books, Desk) with Airtable, Make, n8n, and Zapier, and browser extensions (MV2 and MV3) for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
