Project details
I will optimize your WordPress site and improve its score on GTmetrix and Google PageSpeed.
The optimizations are done manually (without the use of WordPress plugins) and will improve the server response time, page loading speed, the user interactivity with your site, reduce the mobile data used and improve SEO.
The optimizations include:
āļø Backup of all the original files currently being used on your site
āļø Minify all the HTML, CSS and JS files
āļø Image compression and resizing
āļø Add "Lazy Loading" to the images
āļø Improve the HTTP cache on your server
āļø Enable Gzip compression on your server
āļø Improve the parsing of your HTML documents by using defer or async on your JS files
āļø Improve the connection to third-party requests by using DNS prefetch or preconnect
āļø WordPress updates to improve the security and performance of your site
āļø Database optimizations
āļø SEO (Search Engine Optimizations)
āļø Other needed optimizations
After the optimizations, you'll achieve:
ā Faster server response time
ā Faster page loading on Mobile and Desktop
ā Reduced mobile data usage
ā Improved user interaction and reduction of waiting time
ā Improved site ranking on Google Search

About Erick
Software Developer
Sao Jose dos Campos, BrazilĀ - 3:20 am local time
I'm a software developer with focus on quality (efficient and concise code), reusability (components can be used and reconfigured across the system), and performance (smart utilization of algorithms according to the amount of processing data, always having in mind the user experience and the server capacity).
I worked on two long term projects:
On my first project (internship completed in 2012/2013), my role was to test, document, code, suggest solutions to my team, and perform maintenance and bug correction on the system we were developing and installation, configuration, and tests of plugins into the system.
On my second project (undergraduate thesis in 2014), we developed a system to treat phobias using augmented reality. I mainly contributed to the research of the technology used, frameworks and database integration, programming of the system and its functions, and programming of the user interface.
Technical skills:
-Front-End Web: HTML5 (HTML5 Boilerplate, Bootstrap, Foundation), JavaScript and React, CSS3 and Sass
-Back-End: PHP, Python (Django, Flask)
-Desktop: Java GUI (Swing), Python GUI (Tkinter, PyQt), Python Web Scraping (Requests-HTML, Beautiful Soup), Python Images Manipulation (Pillow), C# (Windows Forms), Sockets, HTTP Requests
-Databases: MySQL (MySQL Workbench, phpMyAdmin), SQLite
-Operating Systems: Linux, Windows
-Concepts: Object-oriented programming, Computer graphics, Computer network, Information security (Cryptography, Hashing), Sorting and search algorithms
What am I learning currently?
Currently, I'm studying the frameworks Pandas, Matplotlib, React, Vue.js and Angular.
Steps for completing your project
After purchasing the project, send requirements so Erick can start the project.
Delivery time starts when Erick receives requirements from you.
Erick works on your project following the steps below.
Revisions may occur after the delivery date.
š Run first audit, get site name and other relevant info
I will measure your site performance on GTmetrix and Google PageSpeed and use the report generated to identify the performance problems and start working on them. I will also give you a copy of the audit, which also contains your site Rating.
š Authenticate to the WordPress and your hosting control panel
After running the audit, I need to get the login credentials for WordPress and for the hosting control panel (cPanel, SSH, etc) so I can access the site directory and files.
