I am an Applied Physics graduate who also studied Business Administration (MBA) & have worked with management systems for over 30 years as a consultant to clients from different sectors.
The proposed system was designed to manage the flow of processes and documents from point of initiation to the final stage. It provides a way for managers to monitor progress without leaving their offices, giving them control over the overall performance of their team.
The system is driven by parameters that are set by the users to define each process. Clients can request for service or submit application forms online. All the stages of processing the request are defined, including who handles each stage, how long it takes, date and time the process is in & out of a particular office or stage, Users can upload scanned documents as attachments at any stage of the process so they are available to people handling the process downstream. Clients can login to monitor the progress of their applications/ request without having to call the office. The performance management module links daily tasks managed by the system to individual performance objectives, allowing monitoring & evaluation of performance.
