Prior to my return on Upwork I was a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at CivitAI where I worked with datasets ranging in the hundred of millions and developed models to prevent illegal and unethical use of AI, driving those metrics down 96-fold to near-zero, using novel approaches implemented from papers as well as fine-tuned traditional NLP and VLM models.
I'm currently providing my free-time to The Linux Foundation at the OMI(Open Model Initiative) as the lead of the data working group to train the next generation of truly open source models.
