* Work experience: I have eight years of total professional experience across large corporations (Microsoft), mid-sized companies that are scaling quickly, (SurveyMonkey), and at early-stage startups (Magoosh). The most relevant experience for this role might include the four years I spent at Microsoft working in accounting and finance. I also did bookkeeping for our family business when I was younger so I am familiar with the processes.

* Functional experience: I have had experience in managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, month-end close, journal entries, providing timely weekly/monthly reporting, performing analyses as needed, and reconciling accounts. I also believe I have great attention to detail, can multi-task effectively, and have advanced excel skills (creating macros, pivot tables, etc) to complete any analysis.

* Software experience: I have experience with QuickBooks and Xero, but if you use other types of software, I am a quick learner.

* Education: I studied finance and accounting in undergrad, and I'm currently in business school with a flexible schedule and I'm looking for a remote opportunity (part-time or full-time) with a great company.
