This project is for B2C online retailers who are generating thousands of dollar sales weekly but experience tight cash flow. The goal of this project is to calculate how profitable you are for the week. Yes weekly, so that you can immediately close promotions and downsells/upsells that are not profitable or double up on those that are adding most to your bottom line.
Shopping cart or amazon's statistics/P&L dashboard is sometimes misleading for it does not show real time adjustments such as refunds, cancellations, or pending sales. I've often seen sellers who get very disappointed to see less money coming in their bank, not even close to the dollar sales they see in their shopping cart dashboards. The dashboard's use really (this is coming from a popular shopping cart provider) is to show you a snapshot of your day's sales, whether all of those sales eventually materialize to dollars is a different matter. To get the real numbers you need to get the transaction dump, that needs to be cleaned up and organized before it makes sense. Here's where I come in, I will clean up and analyze these data dump and create the real picture of your sales for the week and send it to you 1-2 days.
