Built a production-ready, end-to-end AI document processing platform that lets users upload PDFs and ask natural language questions about them — with real-time status updates and instant, cited answers.
What it does:
Users upload documents via a React frontend
AWS Textract extracts text from scanned PDFs and images
Anthropic Claude generates embeddings and semantic answers via RAG (retrieval-augmented generation)
pgvector on Aurora Serverless stores and retrieves document embeddings
Answers stream back with exact source references
Real-time processing status delivered via WebSocket (API Gateway + DynamoDB)
Architecture highlights:
Async processing pipeline: SQS → Lambda orchestrator → Lambda processor → SNS fan-out
ECS Fargate (ARM64 Graviton) running a FastAPI REST API behind CloudFront + ALB
Cognito authentication with JWT verification on every WebSocket connection
X-Ray distributed tracing across Lambda, ECS, and API Gateway
CloudWatch Dashboard with ECS, ALB, Lambda, and WebSocket metrics
CI/CD via GitHub Actions → ECR → ECS rolling deploy with circuit breaker and auto-rollback
CDK (Python) for all infrastructure as code.

Web App for modifying data in a Json file
Sanjay has been developing quite a complex UI for us over the past several months. He has pretty good quality of code and adheres to good code practices. There were some bugs that needed more testing to iron out, but Sanjay was always willing to help and attempted to communicate in the best possible way. Easy to work with, no language issues via the messenger platform. Overall, great value for money!
