I’m building an AI-powered autonomous drone system that goes beyond simulation. Unlike typical final-year projects, this work runs on a real drone, performing real-time computer vision and decision-making on live video streams.
The system integrates deep learning–based object/face detection, real-time tracking, and autonomous control to enable the drone to perceive, decide, and act without human intervention. The focus is not just accuracy, but low-latency performance, system integration, and real-world constraints like unstable video, limited compute, and flight safety.
What sets this project apart is its end-to-end engineering depth: from model selection and optimization, to real-time streaming, control logic, and deployment on actual hardware. This is not a demo—it’s a working autonomous system
