Andrew Rippon is a Senior Director Level Consultant specialised in applying the latest robust technologies to infrastructure and vertical asset construction projects, government and consultants.

As Smart City Director for three years in AlUla Andrew delivered 10 key Smart assets to the County construction projects, including Infrastructure, Vertical Assets and Mobility with technologies including video AI, IOT, DLT, networks, cloud, Smart City platform and Digital Twin.
In Andrew’s role as Principle Consultant & Smart City Architect at neXgen he was advisor to real estate developers, he designed and implemented building management systems, sensors, control centres, video operations and traffic control. Developers included Dubai Silicone Oasis.

Later working with internet services for telecoms Vodafone Global, STC, Zain and Etisalat, including collaborating on the early Smart City strategy at the latter in 2010.
